Requirements
Must:
- Two to four years of relevant experience in a related field
- Two or three-year community college diploma in a related area, or a comparable mix of education and experience
- Proficient in electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems and their operational principles
- Strong understanding of intricate manufacturing processes and techniques
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical assembly approaches and fabrication methods
- Expertise in electronic circuitry, testing, and debugging techniques
- Familiarity with programming languages and applications such as C++, ECAD, and MCAD
- Ability to comprehend product specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Skilled in utilizing hand and power tools for test assembly
- In-depth experience with mechanical measurement, calibration and testing equipment
- Capable of analyzing equipment/systems, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs
- Knowledgeable in digital electronics and repair techniques
- Competent in using PCs and familiar with Windows applications
- Well-versed in quality standards and practices
- Strong communication abilities with diverse internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Offer advanced technical support for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, production equipment, and related products
- Establish and conduct new, complex tests, procedures, simulations, or adjustments
- Interpret and evaluate schematic diagrams and circuit details
- Set up, manage, and calibrate testing equipment
- Validate tests and testing setups
- Assist in designing and debugging test fixtures, cables, and additional equipment
- Design and implement circuitry for test fixtures to connect products to bench tests and specialized automated equipment
- Update software used in test setups
