Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in relevant fields
- Expertise in all varieties of network hardware architectures, including data center, telecommunications, enterprise, and service provider
- Strong grasp of networking components and protocols
- Familiarity with technologies such as Broadcom/Marvell/Cisco NPU, Broadcom DNX, Intel/AMD processors, hard disks, SSD, SAS/SATA, PCIe, CXL, and Ax86
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, well-organized, self-driven with strong customer service, project management, and analytical skills
- Experience with initial product concepts and developing hardware architecture through prototyping and new design evaluations
- Solid understanding of security considerations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Capability to develop and evaluate architectural and product specifications to facilitate hardware product development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of networking systems
- Drive networking strategies and suggest best practices for networking solutions
- Design and deploy effective networking solutions while researching new technologies
- Engage in ideation and concept design to create new and reusable hardware architectures
- Provide strategic guidance for planning and designing complex hardware systems
- Collaborate with Product Group Technology Leads, Product Managers, Marketing, and Sales teams to establish the technology roadmap
- Stay informed about networking industry trends and assist in shaping the strategic direction for technology initiatives
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate the technology roadmap into tangible hardware products
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, sharing insights and mentoring across Hardware Product Solutions
- Select key components for optimal design and cost-effectiveness to ensure successful market adoption
- Analyze new technologies and trends, summarizing findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Champion innovation and leverage the Technologist community for innovation initiatives
- Serve as a mentor, guiding future technology leaders and innovators
- Engage with strategic customers, representing our hardware products at a technical level
- Understand customer use cases to drive internal innovation.
