Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience in testing and validating power electronics systems or embedded electronics.
- Knowledge of DC/DC converter designs, including intermediate bus converter (IBC), non-isolated/isolated DC/DC converter, and Buck converter, along with power electronics principles.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware problems and understanding technical documentation and schematics.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools like PSPICE, LTSPICE, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Collaborative approach to effectively engage with design, manufacturing, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update test plans, procedures, and scripts for electrical and power systems.
- Carry out functional, performance, and reliability assessments of power electronics systems, including DC/DC converters and designs for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and FPGA.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues at both board and system levels identified during testing or manufacturing.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to assist in validation, qualification, and problem-solving endeavors.
- Simulate and measure system performance utilizing tools such as PSPICE, LTSPICE, and other relevant measurement instruments.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret testing data, providing clear reports to stakeholders.
- Suggest enhancements to improve system performance, reliability, or manufacturability.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and validate component/system performance.
- Keep current with industry trends, standards, and testing methodologies.
