Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 13-16 years of experience in embedded networking software development (±3 years acceptable)
- Demonstrable experience in Network Operating System development or maintenance
- Hands-on expertise with L2/L3 networking protocols and ASIC interaction
- Strong programming abilities in C/C++ with scripting skills in Python/Bash
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory
- Direct experience with SONiC NOS is preferred
- Familiarity with open-source networking standards or AI-integrated systems is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Network Operating Systems (NOS) for switching/routing platforms
- Collaborate with global engineering teams on NOS software design
- Independently design, code, debug, and validate complex NOS features
- Engage in hands-on work with Linux networking subsystems
- Utilize distributed source control and CI/CD workflows in an embedded build environment
- Work effectively with geographically diverse teams across various regions
