Requirements
Must:
- Over 15 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in project management, with the ability to lead complex, multi-functional initiatives
- Strong executive leadership abilities, aligning with Celestica Leadership Imperatives
- Financial acumen for developing strategic plans and ensuring profitable engineering solutions
- Competency in stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with concepts like D/PFMEA and 8D corrective actions
- Ability to develop best practices and provide training globally
Responsibilities
- Identify and oversee new projects related to customer-specific processes and equipment development
- Define scope for all technical undertakings and manage team coordination
- Evaluate and support prioritization of tasks, assisting in problem resolution for customer product life cycles
- Analyze trade-offs for DFX issues in collaboration with suppliers, customers, and the supply chain
- Assess potential manufacturing impacts associated with design concepts affecting safety, costs, quality, or delivery
- Determine suppliers capability and capacity to meet production schedules and cost objectives
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in specific manufacturing subsectors, if applicable
- Develop and promote best practice standards, participating in industry organizations and providing global support
