Requirements
Must:
- 2 to 4 years of direct experience in an Inventory Control, Materials Analyst, or cycle counting role, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Foundational understanding of material flow and inventory management in a high-tech or electronics assembly context, with experience tracking complex parts lists being a plus.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) for transaction processing and data retrieval.
- Intermediate skills in Excel for organizing data and conducting basic analysis.
- Strong comprehension of cycle counting methods, inventory reconciliation procedures, and basic warehouse management principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Proven ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on inventory issues while assisting colleagues in understanding and resolving these issues.
- Execute tasks related to inventory control supporting the overall material plan and aiming to meet target levels.
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy within the ERP/MRP system.
- Manage and track surplus inventory by maintaining detailed system records and physical separation of stock.
- Aid in the physical inventory counting process and support the implementation of action plans to minimize non-working stock.
- Collect and arrange data for the senior team to help balance inventory results with financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the senior analyst to generate weekly reports that forecast and track inventory metrics.
