Requirements
Must:
- Over 15 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in project management, leading complex, multifaceted initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in line with executive management expectations
- Strong financial acumen and business planning abilities
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Capable of coaching and mentoring team members
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean and D/PFMEA
- Knowledge of design experiments (DOE) and corrective action procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Identify and oversee the development of customer-specific processes and equipment projects
- Define the scope for technical tasks and manage team coordination
- Assist in prioritizing work assignments and resolving issues throughout the product lifecycle
- Address manufacturing technical challenges from product inception to obsolescence
- Analyze and negotiate design for excellence (DFX) challenges in collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders
- Assess potential manufacturing effects on safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Evaluate supplier capabilities to ensure production schedules and budget targets are met
- Develop and implement best practice standards while providing global training and support
- May serve as the Subject Matter Expert for specific manufacturing segments
