Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and possess 9 years of experience.
- I have a background in developing and/or maintaining national security, no-fail mission systems.
- I have experience managing large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, which includes support for cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, and performance monitoring and reporting.
- I’ve successfully led transformations from waterfall to Agile methodologies aimed at delivering Minimum Viable Products consistently.
- I am experienced with various system types, including custom developed hardware/software, COTS/GOTS hardware/software, and specialized engineering involving exotic materials or limited supply items.
- I bring experience in cloud-based development, integration, and testing capabilities.
- I have expertise in configuration and data management, as well as hardware and software testing and evaluation of classified systems.
- I have a proven track record of implementing cybersecurity solutions in existing Department of Defense systems.
- I have experience in managing and sustaining distributed systems, virtual operating system environments, and virtual/augmented reality technologies.
- I am adept at translating operational requirements into system requirements and converting system requirements into technical requirements and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- I will perform Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology and Engineering, including requirements definition, analysis, system design, interface and data architectures, systems integration, and system performance analysis.
- I ensure a logical and systematic transformation of product requirements into comprehensive system solutions, taking into account technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
- I conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, and interface definition studies to convert customer requirements into hardware, software, or engineering specifications.
- I provide specific, detailed information regarding selection, implementation techniques, and tools to achieve the most efficient solutions for business needs, encompassing both present and future capacity requirements.
Description
We are Celeris, seeking a highly experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in carrying out the operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars essential to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In this role, I will support the government customer, the Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer in delivering coherent planning, development, and delivery of PARCS and UEWR radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests and deficiency reports.
