Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field for Level 1 positions
- 4-7 years of experience for Level 2 positions with moderate independence
- 8 or more years of experience for Level 3 positions with high independence
- Experience creating and managing data documentation including data dictionaries and business requirements
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Strong commitment to user-centered design principles
- Ability to pass background checks as required by specific projects
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a knack for working independently and within cross-functional teams
- Capacity to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and the Scrum framework is beneficial
- Experience in both public sector organizations and in business analysis for General Ledger or related fields is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed technical analysis and design to meet business objectives
- Identify workflows and challenges to recommend effective automation solutions
- Perform cost/benefit analysis to assess potential system enhancements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and architectural designs following branding and usability standards
- Analyze existing procedures to pinpoint issues and suggest process improvements
- Lead efforts in gathering and analyzing user requirements; translate them into comprehensive specifications
- Document system capabilities and user needs, including modification requests
- Compose User Stories, defining clear acceptance criteria
- Maintain up-to-date data dictionaries, business requirement documents, and visual documentation
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including developers and product managers
- Facilitate discovery workshops and feedback meetings with stakeholders
- Participate actively in sprint planning to align design with user needs
- Assist with technical and functional upgrades for system enhancements
- Conduct end-to-end testing, ensuring system usability and data integrity
- Ensure systems meet accessibility standards and compliance requirements
- Monitor system performance and reliability to optimize functionalities
- Implement best practices in SEO and responsive design
- Assist the development of scalable, resilient systems, especially in cloud environments
- Create dashboards and presentations to display project timelines and system data
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team
- Perform additional tasks as needed
