Requirements

Must:
- Top Secret/SCI clearance with SBI and capability to obtain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance. - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or Windows Server 2012/2016 Certification; DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II /Intermediate certification. - Eight (8) years of progressive experience in server administration, specifically in production environments. - Five (5) years of experience in identifying and analyzing server requirements, as well as planning and deploying new technologies and upgrades. - Five (5) years of experience applying best practices for Windows Server 2016 and later, covering configuration, implementation, and security. - Eight (8) years of server administration experience in Microsoft Windows environments, including performance monitoring and tuning. - Four (4) years of management experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. - Three (3) years in a team leadership role, capable of assigning tasks and ensuring progress towards organizational goals. - Five (5) years of experience mentoring junior staff in best practices and procedures related to server administration. - Four (4) years of experience with PowerShell and scripting for task automation. - Must pass a background check and may require additional checks per project/client needs. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail. - Competency in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic environment. - Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. - Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

- Act as the Microsoft enterprise systems administrator, managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPOs, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure. - Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Microsoft systems infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based. - Manage Active Directory environments, including user provisioning, permissions management, and OU structuring. - Oversee Microsoft Exchange, email services, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools under Microsoft 365. - Manage deployments, patching, upgrades, and security enhancements of Windows Server and desktops. - Develop, document, and enforce system administration standards and operational procedures to ensure compliance and consistency. - Monitor system performance, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to resolve outages and performance issues. - Implement and maintain strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for Microsoft systems. - Manage security and compliance through auditing access controls, security policies, and responding to audit requests. - Collaborate with security and operations teams to support incident responses and problem management efforts. - Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and coaching to junior administrators and helpdesk staff. - Participate in IT project planning and execution, including requirement analysis, system integration, and migration projects. - Keep current with Microsofts latest technologies, patches, and security advisories. - Provide after-hours and on-call support for critical incidents or deployments as necessary. - Undertake additional duties as needed.
