Requirements
Must:
- Level 1: 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field, familiar with standard practices and procedures.
- Level 2: 4-7 years of experience, capable of applying judgment to achieve goals with some independence.
- Level 3: 8 or more years of experience, proficient in handling complex tasks with significant creativity.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for clear and professional communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures effectively.
- Strong multitasking ability to manage various projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Aptitude for managing sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proven experience with security systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus tools, and encryption technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and communication ports (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with security monitoring tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network forensic instruments.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and regulations like HIPAA, PCI DSS, or GDPR.
- Practical experience in policy creation aligned with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain enterprise-level security systems, hardware, and software solutions.
- Tailor configurations to meet organizational security needs and ensure system functionality.
- Monitor network traffic and logs to detect suspicious activities or potential security incidents.
- Investigate unauthorized access attempts and system changes in real-time.
- Evaluate existing security infrastructures, assess vulnerabilities, and identify coverage gaps.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance system security measures.
- Create and update network security policies for compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Establish and enforce access control roles to manage user permissions and segment rights.
- Implement safeguards against unauthorized access, data breaches, or incidents affecting sensitive information.
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and adjust protections accordingly.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
