Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or a minimum of 4 years of related professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in engineering or IT.
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- U.S. Citizenship is essential due to the sensitive nature of this position.
- Must successfully pass a background check, with possible additional checks as required by projects or clients at any time during employment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capability to articulate clearly and professionally.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability to multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
- Must be self-driven and able to work effectively both independently and within a multi-functional team.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Quickly respond to user inquiries and support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network connectivity.
- Accurately document all incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the designated help desk ticketing system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support staff or specialized IT teams, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users, providing status updates, instructions, and guidance as needed.
- Assist with user account management tasks, including password resets and access provisioning, in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain and contribute to help desk documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQ resources for recurring support topics.
- Strictly adhere to organizational IT security protocols, confidentiality requirements, and relevant compliance policies.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and relay recurring issues or trends to management for process improvement and enhanced end-user support.
- Provide exemplary customer service to ensure user satisfaction and foster positive relationships between IT and end-users.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
