Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience, with foundational knowledge of established concepts and practices in the field.
- 4-7 years of experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards and practices.
- At least 8 years of experience for senior-level roles, showcasing the ability to independently manage complex tasks.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C# and familiarity with software design patterns and system architectures.
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with their architectural principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for addressing sophisticated technical issues.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects.
- Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks related to public sector standards.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology trends in public sector tech and cloud migration practices.
Responsibilities
- Craft and develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.
- Construct and set up cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Transition legacy applications to cloud solutions, employing modern architectures such as microservices or serverless.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges to maintain high availability and optimal performance levels.
- Implement automation solutions for CI/CD pipelines and adopt DevSecOps methodologies for streamlined operations.
- Offer technical advice and uphold best practices to align solutions with business goals and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure quality and consistency across projects.
- Facilitate secure data exchange and interoperability via modern messaging and API technologies.
- Continuously enhance cloud resource efficiency, balancing cost, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain documentation of solution architectures and implementation processes using industry-standard tools.
