Cloud Security Architect - AWS/Azure

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp organizational goals, operational processes, and challenges - Evaluate user needs, data flows, and existing system limitations to recommend secure, effective, and economical solutions - Conduct detailed analyses and cost/benefit evaluations to suggest alternative cloud security approaches - Facilitate interviews and working sessions across departments to gather requirements for system automation, security improvements, and reporting - Direct the complete design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures for cloud-native, containerized, microservices, and AI/ML systems - Incorporate Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust principles throughout enterprise systems - Ensure security controls and design patterns adhere to TCF, NIST 800-53, and other regulatory requirements - Supervise the deployment, configuration, and management of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and other security tools - Integrate security measures into DevSecOps pipelines, guaranteeing secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices - Conduct advanced threat modeling and risk assessments for complex, distributed environments - Develop, maintain, and enforce enterprise security policies, architectural standards, and procedures - Monitor and enhance security operations and controls to ensure compliance and respond to emerging threats - Create comprehensive documentation, including user needs, program functionalities, architectural diagrams, and implementation processes - Present risk assessments, strategies, and complex technical concepts to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders - Perform additional tasks as assigned
