Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in testing or validation in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial machinery.
- Proven ability to design and execute testing strategies, particularly in construction, forestry, mining, or agricultural equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues using tools such as CAT ET, CANape, and Cadet.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Experience in project management and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in various conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, dusty).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full-scale testing projects on advanced machinery to ensure they meet engineering and customer specifications.
- Prioritize safety and advocate for continuous improvement in every testing phase.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, create work instructions, oversee machine modifications, and analyze results.
- Apply technical skills across diverse systems including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software platforms.
- Utilize analytical tools like Excel, Tableau, DATK, and MS Office to transform data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure timely and budget-friendly project execution.
- Operate mining equipment post-training to enhance knowledge of machine systems.
- Contribute ideas for ongoing improvements in safety, efficiency, and product performance.
