Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or SAP Application Analyst with direct support of Division Order and Production Revenue Accounting modules
- In-depth knowledge of upstream oil & gas Revenue and Division Order business processes and industry terminology
- Required experience in the upstream energy sector; natural gas background preferred
- Proven ability to gather requirements, craft functional specifications, and configure SAP solutions
- Proficient in SQL, scripting languages, and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with integration tools and APIs
- Experience with change management and system lifecycle processes
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Capacity to work autonomously and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Bachelors degree in information systems, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and enhance SAP Division Order and Production Revenue Accounting modules during and post-S/4HANA implementation
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for SAP revenue and division order solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Production, Land/Division Order, and Revenue Accounting to understand processes, gather requirements, and design effective solutions
- Convert business needs into functional specifications and configuration documentation
- Aid in integrations with third-party upstream applications (e.g., field data capture and land systems)
- Diagnose and resolve system issues; facilitate root cause analysis and coordinate with technical teams for solutions
- Lead and assist in testing activities — including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create training materials and facilitate end-user training and change management efforts
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulations
- Support reporting, analytics, and data governance initiatives related to upstream operations
- Identify and promote opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and external implementation partners
