Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Clearance required at the start date
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering/Science, or a related technical field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in software development, testing, and support
- Proficiency in C# development
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and test creation/execution
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Scrum@Scale
- Ability to produce software documentation and formal reports
- Knowledge of automated software testing practices
- Experience with DevSecOps and/or CI/CD pipelines
- Skills in user interface development and testing
- Competence in both Windows and Linux development/test environments
Responsibilities
- Execute software engineering tasks for ALRE and mission-critical software-intensive systems
- Develop, enhance, debug, and test software applications primarily using C#
- Facilitate lab and operational site-based system testing
- Participate in Agile practices such as sprint planning, task assignments, and iterative delivery
- Create and conduct software unit and integration tests, documenting results per program standards
- Assist with software integration, verification, and validation activities in both Windows and Linux environments
- Support software/hardware system integration, verification, and validation testing
- Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and operational settings, offering technical solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and formal reports as required
- Engage in technical meetings, reviews, and collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), including Government and contractor personnel
- Adhere to applicable processes and guidelines, including government security and mission requirements

You will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software-intensive systems that assist in military command and control, cryptologic missions, and various intelligence operations. This position is based at Joint Base MDL and operates on a Compressed Work Schedule, allowing for a 3-day weekend every other week.
