Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field
- Experience in developing secure back-end software within classified or regulated settings
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C#, Java, or PowerShell (preferred)
- Experience across diverse operating systems, including Linux and Windows (preferred)
- Windows Computing Environment (CE) experience (preferred)
- Certification in Linux and/or Windows Computing Environment (CE) (preferred)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure back-end software systems
- Support secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) processes and industry best practices
- Create and maintain APIs, services, and application logic to support mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, operations, and systems engineers
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and enhance back-end services in both Linux and Windows environments
- Ensure that software adheres to government security and compliance standards
- Document system designs, coding practices, and technical procedures
