Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex data visualizations
- Solid data analysis skills including data mining and SQL
- Experience with ETL processes is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams and present insights to executives
- Familiarity with data governance best practices
- Understanding of data quality management and data privacy compliance
- At least five years of experience in Business Intelligence, enterprise reporting, or data warehousing
- Minimum three years of team leadership or management experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (equivalent IT experience accepted)
- Preferred advanced degree and BI or data analytics certifications
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the organizations BI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Oversee data analysis efforts, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to derive actionable insights
- Create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide stakeholders with accurate, timely information
- Establish and uphold data governance policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance
- Manage a team of BI professionals, including data analysts and developers, offering guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Utilize Artificial Intelligence to enhance data analysis through machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) to automate insights and empower self-service analytics, facilitating quicker strategic decisions for all users
Description
We are seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) who will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our BI strategy. This position involves leveraging data to support informed decision-making while ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to prioritize demands and create a multi-year roadmap to advance our BI objectives. This bonus-eligible role offers a competitive base salary of $130k-$160k and requires applicants to hold legal authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
