Requirements
Must:
5+ years designing, implementing, and supporting Exchange and Exchange Online hybrid-cloud infrastructure, preferably within the financial services industry.
Experience managing and troubleshooting Exchange 2016/2019 DAG’s, mail flow, receive/send connectors, and database failover.
A detailed understanding of Azure AD Connect and Azure attribute synchronization.
5+ years systems administration experience managing enterprise Windows in a 24 by 7 critical/highly available production environment
5+ years of strong experience with compliance archiving, message encryption and mail filtering systems (preferably Global Relay, Mimecast and Zix)
3+ years of in-depth experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in a cloud and Windows environment
Excellent verbal skills, written skills with the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and persuasively

The Expert Engineer must have excellent collaboration skills and will need to frequently interact with cloud architects, other senior infrastructure engineers, enterprise security analysts, ServiceDesk personnel, and leadership to achieve the corporate goals of high availability, performance, stability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
Essential Functions for this role include:
Assist in configuring, supporting, and patching a complex hybrid-cloud messaging infrastructure including, but not limited to Exchange Online, Exchange 2016/2019, Global Relay, Mimecast and Zix.
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security specialists to design and expand MissionSquare’s cloud infrastructure in support of our next generation of cloud-centric applications and services with a focus on automation, availability, scalability, and performance
Improve the reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of MissionSquare cloud applications and cloud infrastructure through agile feedback and improvement methods.
Assist in proactively identifying process improvement opportunities by challenging conventional practices and adopting new methods to increase future state agility, flexibility, and security
Assist with the implementation and sustainment of Infrastructure as Code templates to automate infrastructure maintenance and increase the efficiency of MissionSquare’s cloud infrastructure management
Support MissionSquare cloud services leveraging tools such as PowerShell, M365 Administrative portals (Sharepoint, Teams, Endpoint Manager and Security), Azure blades (Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Log analytics, and Resources), and AWS features and services (EC2, S3, EFS, Security Groups, CloudWatch and CloudTrail)
Assist with cloud service connectors and RESTful APIs
Help conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts/prototypes for new technologies/solutions
Communicate effectively with infrastructure architects and engineers, developers, project managers, security engineers, and senior management
Partner with delivery and engineering teams to support solution development using Agile practices
Monitor and report on project activities and report to the team and management regarding project status, task, and issues/risks
