- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a unionized setting are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and engage professionally in meetings and company events.
Responsibilities
- As an IT Business Solutions Analyst, I will act as a key intermediary between fund office departments and IT, providing support for Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefit plans.
- My duties will include analyzing intricate datasets using SQL and visualization tools to discover patterns, identify inconsistencies, and generate actionable insights through comprehensive reports and dashboards.
- I will conduct market and industry research while assisting senior team members with data collection and drafting proposals that align client needs with strategic growth opportunities.
- My role will involve communicating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, offer updates, and facilitate project execution across all phases.
- I will manage daily project activities, oversee documentation and deliverables, and utilize project management tools to track tasks and generate status reports.
- Participation in meetings and agile ceremonies, taking organized notes, and preparing training materials and communication plans for special initiatives will also fall within my responsibilities.
- I will design and execute test plans, collaborate with developers and analysts to validate outputs, and support automated testing through scripting and monitoring post-deployment performance.
Description
I am committed to ensuring the precision and effectiveness of eligibility data systems for health, pension, annuity, and associated benefits. An extensive understanding of eligibility rules and trust fund operations is vital to this role, and regular overtime work may be required. The position offers a full-time schedule with expected hours of 40 per week and a competitive pay range of $31.52 to $40.33 per hour. The benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, dental and health insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, sick time, paid time off, professional development assistance, retirement plan options, and vision insurance. I will also inquire about candidates' experiences with Taft-Hartley or multi-employer benefit plans, their use of SQL for data analysis, and their ability to manage competing priorities in a unionized environment, alongside their proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
