We are seeking a candidate with 3-5+ years of experience in information security, IT administration, or cloud computing roles, ideally holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent background. The ideal applicant will have experience implementing and managing security measures in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. A proven history of responding to and resolving security incidents, along with hands-on experience with cloud security architecture and operations, is essential. We value excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
As our Cloud Security Administrator, I will have you play a pivotal role in securing our organization’s digital resources within cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure solutions, as well as Meraki cloud infrastructure. You will be tasked with maintaining our cloud security architecture to ensure alignment with best practices. In addition, you will implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, apply encryption and data protection measures, and monitor data flows to prevent unauthorized access. You will also deploy security tools to detect threats, ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards through regular audits, and develop security policies related to cloud usage and data handling. Continuous improvement will be a focus area, keeping you engaged with evolving technologies and security threats.
Description
This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities; however, you may take the lead on projects. The work environment is primarily an office setting, with the ability to lift 10-50 pounds when necessary. The role may require regular overtime as a standard part of the job. We are offering a full-time position with a salary range of $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and more. You will be asked application questions regarding your experience with cloud security tools, designing secure infrastructures, implementing multi-factor authentication, ensuring compliance with security frameworks, and keeping up with advancements in cloud technologies.
