Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, alongside 5+ years of relevant work background
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 3+ years of relevant work history
- Proven experience in the Implementation, Upgrade, Enhancement, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Support of Oracle Fusion Cloud
- At least 5 years in architecting and designing financial solutions within Oracle Enterprise applications
- Minimum of 5 years of functional experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite and Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, PO, FA, Cash Management, Tax, Project Accounting, Inventory Costing) with two full lifecycle implementations in the cloud
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end business processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Invoice to Report, Procure to Pay)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud OTBI, BI Publisher, and Financial Reporting tools
- Familiarity with Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) applications
- Ability to clearly communicate complex systems and technical subjects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing, designing, testing, and validating configurations related to new business processes
- Collaborate with ERP security teams on authorization issues and security setups
- Provide functional specifications for new development/configuration and ensure proper testing and validation before production release
- Ability to independently present innovative solutions and lead workshops through all project phases
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of our new Cloud-based financial solutions, including managing business requirements and guiding the design, prototyping, and process design stages of our Cloud ERP implementation
- Collaborate with CarMax associates to comprehend real-world process and data challenges, identifying their needs to deliver a smooth customer and efficient associate experience
- Work alongside colleagues in product design, management, systems architecture, and various operational and technical teams to craft effective solutions and realize innovative concepts
- Advocate for your ideas internally and iterate them based on feedback and insights in an agile setting
- Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices to continually enhance our offerings and ensure optimal customer and associate experiences
- Lead data analysis for converting existing legacy data into Oracle by assessing data extracts and mapping
- Facilitate effective change management, engaging management and users to encourage participation and collaboration for successful project outcomes
- Engage hands-on to comprehend, validate, build, test, train, and support our users while simplifying business processes across platforms
- Team up with offshore and onsite technical teams to devise solutions based on business needs
- Manage application configuration, functional specifications, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents
- Conduct interviews to solidify business system requirements, collaborating with application team members and product owners to prioritize critical initiatives
- Break down business requirements into technical user stories for the development team
- Configure the Oracle ERP Cloud Financials suite in line with approved business requirements
