Principal Engineer - Network and Cloud

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education and practical experience preferred. - Over 7 years of professional experience in Network, Cloud Network, Network Security, and other relevant areas concerning Network/Cloud/Automation roles; multiple certifications are advantageous. - Proven experience in large, complex enterprise settings. - 7+ years of experience with enterprise routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networks, with a preference for HPE Aruba and Fortinet knowledge. - 5+ years of experience designing, constructing, and managing network infrastructure within cloud platforms, preferably Azure. - Strong grasp of hybrid networking models connecting on-premise environments to public cloud platforms. - Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or PowerShell. - Demonstrated ability to create and support highly available and resilient network architectures. - Experience in driving technical improvements or standards across various teams. - Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in enterprise settings. - Strong understanding of Network Access Control (NAC) principles and applications for wired, wireless, and device management scenarios. - Experience in configuring authentication and authorization policies within Cisco ISE. - Familiarity in implementing and maintaining TACACS+ for device administration and role-based access control. - Capability to serve as a technical expert in ISE and NAC, giving guidance to engineering teams and stakeholders. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving intricate technical issues. - Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal. - Capable of working autonomously while effectively collaborating with teams across various disciplines. - Detail-oriented with an emphasis on operational stability and security. - Eagerness for continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
