Requirements
Must:
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, kneeling, and standing for long durations
- Ability to work at heights and flexibility to perform overtime, weekends, or holidays with notice
- Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and address equipment issues to maintain production flow
- Diagnose, repair, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems
- Assist with morning production startup ensuring equipment readiness
- Execute fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as necessary
- Engage in projects for equipment upgrades and improvements
- Keep the workshop and plant environment clean and organized
- Adhere to food safety and workplace safety regulations
