Requirements

Must:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. - At least four years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering concepts. - Proficiency with AWS networking security tools (e.g., ANF, security groups) and AWS cloud security technologies, including IAM, GuardDuty, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, etc. - Familiarity with container technologies (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, Docker, etc.). - A strong foundation in scripting and programming languages such as Terraform, Golang, Python, and PowerShell. - Solid understanding of agile methodologies like DevOps, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. - Ability to analyze system metrics and other data types to draw insightful conclusions. - Preferred qualifications include certifications in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, significant experience in developing and architecting cloud-native applications with AWS services, and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCSP, GSEC, etc.).

Responsibilities

- Develop and uphold the security and resilience of enterprise-grade cloud services to support our mission at Cargill. - Implement and manage cloud security solutions across AWS and Azure platforms. - Automate security policies and workflows utilizing scripting languages and cloud-native security tools to enhance efficiency and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (enterprise IT product teams, Cloud Center of Excellence, DevOps, Software Engineering, and Compliance) to embed security practices into cloud deployments. - Aid in incident response activities for cloud-related security incidents, encompassing investigation, containment, remediation, and post-mortem analysis. - Lead stakeholder interactions and mentor junior engineers in developing highly scalable security solutions using automation.

The expected salary for this role is between $120,000 and $155,000. Compensation may vary based on several factors including location, certifications, education, and experience level. The provided salary range may be adjusted based on any relevant geographic differential for the location of the position. This role is also eligible for a discretionary incentive award, which is dependent on company and individual performance. We prioritize our people at Cargill.
