Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
- Typically, 5 years or more of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic administration, including clustering and performance tuning
- Strong familiarity with web hosting technologies such as Apache and IIS, as well as load balancing techniques like IBM HTTP Server and NGINX
- Proficient in automation and scripting languages, including wsadmin, WLST, Python, and Shell
- Knowledgeable in security best practices, including SSL/TLS and authentication methods like LDAP and SSO
- Experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools like AppDynamics or Datadog
- Exposure to cloud technologies and containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and experience leading complex platform projects
Responsibilities
- Design and create high-quality software solutions by crafting clean and maintainable code
- Spearhead the implementation of internal software deployment platforms and continuous integration/delivery processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to gather complex requirements and execute solutions that fulfill business needs
- Write and manage comprehensive unit tests and integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure software quality
- Propose and implement enhancements to software development and deployment processes for greater efficiency
- Generate and maintain thorough documentation for complex software applications and deployment processes
- Provide technical support and promptly troubleshoot complex issues to minimize application downtime
