Requirements
Must:
- At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of network engineers or executing network strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement network strategies and solutions within complex, global enterprise settings.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting LAN infrastructures across various locations, ranging from small offices to large manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
- Direct the implementation of network strategies that align with organizational objectives, ensuring infrastructure supports business goals.
- Oversee the setup and configuration of various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and virtual private networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage network performance monitoring and advocate for ongoing improvement initiatives to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Implement and uphold robust network security measures to safeguard against threats and protect data integrity.
- Cultivate relationships with vendors and service providers, assisting in contract negotiations and management for optimal value and service quality.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, coordinating the adoption of innovative solutions within the network infrastructure.
- Foster engagement with key internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and facilitate effective communication, ensuring project alignment and success.
- Guide team members to meet organizational objectives by promoting productivity, communication of performance expectations, goal alignment, coaching, measuring progress, and supporting employee development in an inclusive culture.
