Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 4 years of pertinent work experience, typically favoring candidates with 5 years or more.
- Proven experience in B2B platform engineering, including familiarity with EDI mapping standards such as X12 and EDIFACT.
- Knowledge of integration platforms like Boomi EDI, Tibco, SAP BTP, and SAP PI/PO.
- A solid understanding of core engineering principles, with the capability to apply them to solution design, scalability, and performance optimization in B2B settings.
- Proficiency with modern engineering tools (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, cloud scripting, backlog management) to facilitate agile delivery and operational transparency.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with product teams across various B2B sectors, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop top-notch software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Lead the implementation of internal software deployment platforms, continuous integration, or continuous delivery pipelines while employing twelve-factor development methodologies for smooth and reliable releases.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
- Create and maintain complex unit tests and integration tests, and troubleshoot issues to uphold the quality and performance of the software, applying test-driven development as necessary.
- Suggest options for enhancing the software development and deployment processes and implement approved standards to boost efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and prompt resolution.
