Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, with 5 years preferred
- Extensive technical knowledge across various software technologies and platforms
- Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles and engineering best practices
- Experience in managing competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred: Experience in leading or supervising teams in software engineering or technology delivery settings
Responsibilities
- Oversee resource planning and allocation for multiple initiatives, balancing capacity and delivery commitments
- Lead and coordinate cross-team projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality expectations
- Collaborate with product, platform, and functional leaders to align engineering efforts with enterprise priorities
- Provide technical leadership across a range of software disciplines, guiding sound design and implementation decisions
- Support teams working with diverse stacks, including cloud platforms and legacy technologies
- Promote the reuse of established patterns and best practices from the Software Center of Excellence
- Champion engineering standards and practices, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with various teams to align execution with the organizations direction
- Foster a culture of accountability and growth by leading and supporting engineering professionals
- Offer leadership in production operations and issue resolution, ensuring effective problem-solving
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to systems, processes, and standards
