Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5 years or more
- Proven experience in B2B platform engineering, specifically with EDI mapping standards such as X12 and EDIFACT
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Boomi EDI, Tibco, SAP BTP, and SAP PI/PO
- Strong foundation in core engineering principles with the capacity to apply them to solution design, scalability, and performance optimization in B2B environments
- Proficiency with modern engineering tools (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, cloud scripting, backlog management) to facilitate agile delivery and operational transparency
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product teams across various B2B domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategy
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Lead the implementation of internal software deployment platforms, continuous integration, or continuous delivery pipelines, applying twelve-factor development methodologies to automate the deployment process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and integration tests, and perform debugging to uphold software quality and performance, employing test-driven development as necessary
- Recommend improvements for software development and deployment processes, and implement approved standards to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for complex software applications, deployment procedures, and system configurations
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues with deployed applications to minimize downtime and ensure quick resolutions
