Requirements
Must:
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to comprehend and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer proficiency
- Capability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, which may involve heat, cold, dust, and loud noises, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work at elevated heights (4 feet and above)
- Physically able to perform tasks such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to work overtime, including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with prior notice
- A valid and current drivers license is necessary
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and technology throughout the facility, including mixers, batching systems, mills, grinders, packing machines, weighing scales, and palletizers
- Collect product samples and monitor tank levels, utilizing computer systems for data entry and record-keeping as required
- Manufacture products ensuring they meet established specifications
- Regularly engage with both peers and management to foster continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a collaborative environment
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders
- Handle bulk feed trucks safely and effectively
- Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
