Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or engineering environment
- Strong understanding of software development processes and documentation standards
- Proficient in authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines and IEC 62304
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality documentation standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and management of documentation for software diagnostic product development
- Develop and maintain design control documentation in compliance with FDA and international regulations
- Construct Design History Files for newly developed software products
- Generate various documents, including Design and Development Plans, Development Reports, and Validation Protocols
- Manage document change control processes effectively
- Create and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure the documentation adheres to the companys quality guidelines and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Produce user-facing documents such as user manuals and training materials
- Gather input and integrate feedback from diverse stakeholders to enhance documentation
