Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree in computer technology with two years of relevant experience - Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of advanced education and professional experience - One year of relevant work experience with demonstrated knowledge in computing and software applications - Previous experience in Job Corps is advantageous - Proficiency in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software - Ability to acquire a state or commercial drivers license if necessary - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational capabilities - Familiarity with basic training methodologies - Ability to connect effectively with the student population - Strong presentation skills - Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects - Must achieve and retain CPR/FA certification

Responsibilities

- Uphold and exemplify our core company values and operational principles - Support students in adapting to Center life, enhancing their retention through counseling, supervision, and mentorship - Address student needs promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service - Follow all PRH and company policies, as well as Center Operating Procedures - Prepare reports and document observations of student behavior, performance, notable events, and progress towards their goals - Maintain confidentiality while reporting significant incidents through authorized channels to safeguard the well-being of students and staff - Provide immediate assistance to students in cases of injury, illness, or emotional distress - Ensure workspace cleanliness and adherence to Center, CSD, and DOL standards, including conducting property counts and maintenance requests - Offer guidance and training on Center computer systems and labs to students and staff - Aid in implementing and maintaining computer systems and software applications essential for Job Corps operations - Develop training materials, checklists, and job aids for software tasks - Deliver individual and group training on using communication and computer equipment, software, and network features - Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to communication and computer systems - Perform system updates, set up new equipment, and handle minor repairs or coordinate more complex ones - Serve as a property custodian for surplus computer and communication equipment - Process user access requests for Center staff and monitor staff separations to update system access - Attend required staff training sessions - Undertake additional assignments as directed
