IT Infrastructure Manager - Network & Security

- Provide hands-on technical leadership within Windows Server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage solutions, and backup systems - Review, validate, and authorize infrastructure deployments and configuration modifications by engineering personnel - Act as the escalation point for intricate infrastructure challenges and engage in critical deployments when required - Supervise the Windows Server ecosystem, encompassing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services - Ensure standards for patching, system hardening, lifecycle management, and domain integrity are consistently upheld - Manage and enhance VMware vSphere environments, including cluster management, high availability (HA), and distributed resource scheduling (DRS) - Lead assessments and potential planning for prospective virtualization platform initiatives, including Hyper-V considerations - Oversee NetApp SAN storage architecture, provisioning, and performance enhancements - Ensure the integrity of Veeam backup and replication systems through monitoring and validation - Spearhead disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation, ensuring RTO/RPO alignment with business needs - Provide governance and oversight of hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and AWS integrations - Confirm cloud deployments for security, redundancy, and cost-effectiveness - Establish and sustain infrastructure standards, documentation practices, and change management protocols - Mentor and guide Infrastructure Engineers, supporting their technical growth and operational maturity - Collaborate closely with security, application, and business teams to ensure dependable and secure infrastructure operations
