Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience working with Drupal and WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and templating languages (Twig for Drupal and PHP for WordPress).
- Familiarity with CMS architecture which includes custom content types, taxonomies, and navigation menus.
- Awareness of responsive design principles and accessibility guidelines.
- Skilled in debugging and patching code, with expertise in UI/UX design and best practices.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and juggle various tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design and create responsive, appealing user interfaces for Drupal and WordPress websites to enhance usability across all devices and boost user engagement.
- Engage in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning, evaluations, and retrospectives.
- Keep websites and plugins updated and secure while following clients specifications.
- Monitor and uphold security protocols and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with lead and senior developers, designers, project managers, and coordinators to gather requirements and propose solutions.
- Work with the support team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any production-related issues.
- Conduct tests to ensure security, stability, and performance metrics are met.
- Ensure adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Stay informed about UI/UX trends, platform enhancements, and security practices, and integrate them into development processes.
