Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not counted)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing teams
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: 7 years of expertise in languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- Preferred: 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud platform
- Preferred: 4 years of experience with open source frameworks
- Preferred: 5 years of people management experience
- Preferred: 2 years in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of technology projects and lead a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions aligned with regulatory requirements
- Share enthusiasm for technological advancements, test new technologies, and engage in both internal and external tech communities while mentoring junior engineers
- Collaborate closely with digital product managers to provide comprehensive cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of users
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and utilize Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with various AWS tools and services
