Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (no internship experience considered)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: Over 9 years of experience in languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure)
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience managing teams
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse set of technology initiatives and manage a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to design solutions that meet regulatory requirements
- Share enthusiasm for keeping up with technology trends, exploring and acquiring new skills, actively participating in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally coding or reviewing code
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
