Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years of people management experience
- Masters Degree preferred
- 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Angular, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with GraphQL
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 7+ years of experience in people management
- 2+ years of exposure to Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction for GraphQL platform development, emphasizing schema design, API governance, and performance
- Oversee the design and implementation of intricate GraphQL systems, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization to address their evolving requirements and partner with teams to create supporting platforms
- Mentor and guide engineers, enhancing their skills and facilitating high-quality deliverables
- Work closely with product managers and designers to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Keep abreast of emerging industry trends and best practices related to GraphQL, focusing on AI integration and developer experience
- Resolve complex technical challenges with hands-on expertise, ensuring development remains on schedule
- Set and maintain stringent standards for code quality, testing, and operational excellence within our services and Agile workflows
