Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Minimum of 9 years of experience with at least one programming language (Go, Java, Scala, Python, or Node.js)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with open source frameworks
- Minimum of 7 years of people management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of technology projects
- Oversee a team of developers specializing in distributed microservices and full stack systems
- Design solutions that adhere to regulatory requirements
- Stay engaged with technology trends, experimenting with and learning new tools
- Mentor colleagues within the engineering community
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, SQL, Node, Scala, and more
- Work with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as container orchestration services and AWS tools
