Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- Preferred: 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud platform
- Preferred: 4 years of experience in open source frameworks
- Preferred: 7 years of experience in people management
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of technology projects and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to develop solutions for regulatory compliance
- Stay abreast of technology advancements, engage in experiments with new tools, and participate in technology communities
- Provide mentorship to other engineers and occasionally contribute to coding or code reviews
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud solutions, enhancing user experiences for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS services
