Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years in people management
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- 9 years of experience in at least one programming language: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred)
- 7 years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2 years of experience applying Agile practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse range of technology projects and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that address regulatory requirements.
- Share enthusiasm for current tech trends and engage in exploring and learning new technologies, while also mentoring other engineering community members and occasionally evaluating or writing code.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions that enhance the financial empowerment of millions of Americans.
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a variety of AWS tools and services.
