Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years managing teams in a leadership role
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
- Over 9 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services (Preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (Preferred)
- At least 7 years of people management experience (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years in Agile methodologies (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse range of technology projects and a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to deliver solutions that adhere to company regulations
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for emerging technology trends, conduct experiments with new tools, and engage in both internal and external tech communities
- Mentor fellow engineering team members and participate in coding or code evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions enhancing user experiences
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS services
