Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (excludes internships)
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 9+ years of experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience using open-source frameworks (preferred)
- Over 1 year of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2+ years in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead various technology initiatives and a team of skilled developers specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create regulatory-compliant solutions
- Share enthusiasm for exploring tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, and engaging in both internal and external tech communities; occasionally mentor fellow engineers and review code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
