Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (no internship experience applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
- 9 years of experience in at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 3 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 4 years of experience utilizing open source frameworks
- 1 year of people management experience
- 2 years of experience with Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of technology projects and manage a team of developers knowledgeable in distributed microservices and full stack systems to fulfill regulatory requirements for the company
- Share enthusiasm for staying updated on technology trends, experimenting with new tools, engaging with technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to implement robust cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages, including Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
