Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 9 years of experience in at least one programming language (Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js) preferred
- 3 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred
- 4 years of experience with open source frameworks preferred
- 1 year of people management experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects alongside a team experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create compliant solutions
- Share expertise in emerging technologies, actively engage in experimentation, and mentor fellow engineers
- Collaborate with product managers to develop and deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
