Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internships do not count)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters degree (preferred)
- 9 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python, Scala, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open-source frameworks (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
- 2 years of experience with tools like Amazon SageMaker, Databricks, or similar ML platforms (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects along with a team skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to develop compliant solutions for our organization
- Share enthusiasm for technology trends, engage in experimentation and learning of new tools, and participate in both internal and external tech communities
- Mentor junior members of the engineering team and occasionally review or write code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of customers
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go alongside various AWS tools and container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes
