Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 2 years of experience creating Android applications
- At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin
- 3+ years of experience developing Android applications (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with Kotlin (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience using open-source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Create Android client code solutions that align with Product Strategy and follow established engineering best practices, design guidelines, and principles
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-quality, engaging, and user-friendly customer experiences
- Participate actively in all team agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of commitments at the highest quality
- Actively promote the mobile platform within both internal and external developer communities
- Stay updated in all technologies relevant to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, third-party libraries, etc.)
- Contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback from the broader team
- Mentor junior to mid-level team members
- Engage with developers outside the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)
- Lead the delivery of significant components and platform needs in collaboration with Senior Engineers and Architects
- Regularly share best practices and enhance processes across teams
- Identify technical challenges early and collaborate with the team for creative solutions
- Review pull requests and ensure compliance with Kotlin and other language conventions
