Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Engineering and Systems Architecture or Technology Solution design
- At least 2 years of experience developing solutions architectures in a public cloud environment (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proven track record in leading and enabling technology, architecture, and software engineering activities at enterprise level
- Experience in mentoring software engineers or architects
- AWS or equivalent certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect-Associate, GCP or Azure)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and rapidly adjust to shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
- Steer the design of solutions architecture for multi-platform and cross-platform systems
- Lead trade-off and impact analysis for complex technical decisions and manage technical disputes
- Exhibit thought leadership and strategic insights in collaboration with product and delivery partners
- Articulate and advocate for solutions during Architecture Review Boards and various product, platform, and architecture discussions
- Present work products and strategies to product managers and technology executives across Capital One
- Act as the primary point of architecture contact for other architecture and delivery teams regarding solutions and systems
- Commit to continuous learning as technology needs develop

In this role, youll offer technical leadership in designing and implementing essential technology solutions across various Card Platforms. You will collaborate closely with an integrated Partnerships business and operations team, contributing to the architecture of broader Card and Enterprise teams.
