Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internships will not be considered)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
- Masters Degree preferred
- 9+ years in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go preferred
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure) preferred
- 4+ years working with open source frameworks preferred
- 7+ years of people management experience preferred
- 2+ years of familiarity with Agile practices preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse array of technology projects and guide a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop regulatory-compliant solutions
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with novel technologies, engage in both internal and external tech communities, mentor engineering peers, and occasionally code or review code
- Work in collaboration with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, alongside various Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, along with several AWS tools and services
